That’s one of Lee Godie’s most favorite lines, weighing in most likely only second to “I’m a French Impressionist” or “Would you like to buy my art?”
So don’t leave town in mid-October, because Miss Lee Godie is going to be around. More news to follow soon.
A big thanks to Steve Stowell who has contributed to the Godie movie in many ways. He was a friend of Lee’s and is featured prominently in the film with many of his recollections of his times with her.
We are wrapping up the audio before the final posthouse visit this fall. Stay tuned for when we will be screening it soon. Also, our supporters Crew, Editor or Producer will all get a DVD copy of the film – so a way to view it in a socially-distanced manner – before the film may be able to be screened in a theater.
Daniel Pogorzelski is our first donor at the Producer level. And it comes at a most auspicious time as we are nearing the completion of the film and awaiting a new era when we can join and watch movies again in person.
We also acquired today some archival footage from local filmmaker, Bill Stamets, who has Lee Godie interviewing Tom Palazzolo. So excited to see this slice of history from the mid-1980’s and rare film footage with Miss Godie and we have the perfect spot to include this gem of a find in the film.
